Deposition Readiness Consulting

A deposition is more than a legal event—it is a high-stress interpersonal experience. Anxiety, trauma, fear, and misunderstanding can interfere with communication, memory retrieval, and emotional regulation. My role is to help plaintiffs and witnesses enter their deposition psychologically prepared, confident, and composed.

Working in coordination with counsel, I provide psychology-based coaching that helps clients understand the deposition process, manage stress, and communicate more effectively under pressure. I do not advise witnesses on legal strategy or the substance of their testimony.

What I do:

I provide psychology-based coaching to help plaintiffs and witnesses prepare for the communication demands of deposition. Working in coordination with counsel, I help clients:

  • Understand the deposition process and what to expect.

  • Manage anxiety and emotional reactions that can interfere with communication.

  • Listen carefully to each question before answering.

  • Communicate truthful answers clearly, concisely, and accurately.

  • Organize complex experiences into understandable narratives without altering the substance of their testimony.

  • Recognize how stress affects memory, attention, and communication.

  • Remain composed during aggressive or repetitive questioning.
